Dealer courses
Royal River Casino & Hotel runs its own dealer courses. This page passes your interest on to the casino; it doesn't enroll you.
What a course covers
This outline is our summary of what dealer training involves. The casino sets the real program, its format, length, schedule and any fees, and tells applicants itself.
- Table basics and chipsSetting up a table, handling and stacking chips, counting and paying out.
- Dealing the cardsHand shuffling, pitching and the order of play at a live card game.
- RouletteSpinning the wheel, calling the number, marking the winner and paying the layout.
- CrapsThe stick, the dice and the crew's roles at the table.
- Guests and conductTalking with players, keeping the pace, and handling disputes by calling the floor supervisor.
- Responsible gamblingSpotting someone in trouble, and where to point them for help.
Who can apply
You must be at least the gambling age at the casino, and you must show a document that proves it. The casino's site gives 21 for its player program, so we use 21 here. The casino may confirm the rule when it contacts you. We list no other requirements.
Leave your details
We pass them to the casino, which contacts you. We don't promise a place or a job.
